Luminos Announcement

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Black and White Photography: Digital Printing : One Thread

So, the revolution begins:

Today Luminos announced a line of Lumijet inks and papers that they claim will last 65-70 years without fading (or 25-30 years for a presumably less expensive version). The inks are compatible with Epson printers only, at least for the moment. There's no info at the Luminos web site, but there's a news brief at PDN: http://www.pdn-pix.com/newprod/articles/article152.html

It seems with anything computer-related, things change minutely! I juxt checked out the Luminos site, and they do have info on the new ink-jet media. http://www.luminos.com/lumijet.htm
