Someone wrote how he uses to playback .inp files to reach a certain level of a game, and then takes the control and goes on..... Am I right...?! Do I remember ok....or just misunderstanding....?!?

I tried to do such an operation, with no success.....MAME kept on playing back the game......

playback play

Creator has to end the session (esc) before the game ends. But, if we did that, then the scores created from that game (technically) should'nt be posted. That would be cheating, would'nt it :^>

re: playback play

It isn't possible to resume recording from the point that the original recording was halted... only resume playing the game. So if someone uses an INP file to practice, he would still only have the original, short INP file to send in to MARP.
