Beautiful picture. Great composition, subject, exposure. What more can I say!

An absolutely stunning photograph. this is what photography is about: seeing and with an inner eye, and interpreting what you see.

OK, Andrei, so I'm odd man out, but I find the graphic forms (I often harp on such things) to be rather dull - three vertical columns, dead centered. The subject seems to have lots of potential, but there is no movement to satisfy my desire for an off-balance sense of direction to the image. The lack of contrast also does nothing to give some impact to the image.

Regards,

Frank

I find the lack of detail in the left rock distracing.

I have to restate my praise of this picture. The shot is not dead centered, the top left cut pulls the composition in that direction, making it very interesting, to me anyway. And as for contrast, I have to suggest that this shot is all ABOUT contrast between the action of a light waterfall and the solid stillness of the dark mosscovered rock. I wish I had taken this shot.

Andrei,

After staring at this photo for several days I feel that technically it would be interesting to see several variations on the subject. However I am comfortable with the shapes, but wish the left rock wall was lighter that it is.

From an emotional point of view I can hear the water splashing, feel the mist and coolness, I can touch the rock and feel the moss under my fingers. I get the urge to look down and see if I am standing in a pool. What more can you ask of an image than it instill a feeling of being there? Very nice from this standpoint.

Take care Ben
