Who knows the history of the Green Canon F1n??

Damn. I think I'm turning into a Canon collector again. Thought I had broke the habbit a long time ago! I bought a Green F1n from a friend today who enherited it from his grandfather several years ago. I remember a little about it from when I worked for Canon in the 70's but it's all faded now. Who knows the story?? Something about just a short run for Japan only? It's a lovely military green with a matching strap and a (black) 55 1.2 SSC. Anyone want to tell me what it's worth before I make a fool of myself and publicly anounce what I paid!! Thanks Gary Cullen

Gary, the model you're referring to is the F-1 OD ("olive drab"). Check out this great F-1 site for more details:
