WorldNetDaily (and a couple of other sites) had this link to a good, common sense list of things the American Red Cross is recommending people prepare for.

Perhaps, if people don't want to listen "just" to you; and since the Clinton and the Executive Department have seen fit to "whitewash" the whole Y2K issue while "stonewalling" (or discouraging ?) expanded national media coverage, it might be fruitful to print and handout this article.

It may get them started.

I'm also noticing that local Emergency & Disaster Preparedness groups, including cities and fire departments are starting to put up sites. People may want to re-check in their local area and their states to see what's newly up.
