Many of the more optimistic postings here seem to be based on the foundation that "enough" fixing and contingency planning will be done in the next several months so that 1/1/2000 will not be a large scale disaster ("10"), but rather something at least manageable ("4"ish). I'd like to ask everyone: If time were called this weekend, and the fixing/planning that you envision were not able to be done, how bad do you think that it would be? An absolute "10"? A "7"? (Note that this is probably the last chance to address this, what with Jo Anne Effect type problems coming in just a couple of weeks.) Thanks.
