Is the sigma 400mm f/5.6HSM available for nikon? I saw some threads in the Q&A of Photo.net about one, but this contradicts what a had previously thought. Which HSM lenses are they making for Nikon? I would really like to have ths cleared up. Thanks

Nick, If you check out Sigma's page at www.sigmaphoto.com, they list the HSM lenses for the Sigma and Canon bodies only. Hope this helps.

Nick, if you really do go to www.sigmaphoto.com, you will find that John Purdy is wrong.

While the 400 mm HSM lens is not yet made in a Nikon mount, Sigma is already making the 70-200 f 2.8 HSM lens and the 300 mm F 4 HSM lenses in Nikon mounts.

I have read reviews of the 70-200 Sigma for Nikon which praise it highly.
