getting a good opening as a sports photo journalist

Sir, Iam 28 and presently working in the middle east as a sports reporter with an English daily. Before coming here I worked as a photojournalist with a freelance agency in my native India. Our agency was a reputed one in my country. We were official stingers for Reuters in the southern part. But my main interest was motorsports in the domestic level.Though it was nothing compared to the west, the standard of the sport was the same. Moreover, I myself know the sport very well as I participated as a rider(motor-bikes) for almost nine years in the national level.Today Iam working as a reporter in this part where I get to do football, cricket, tennis and other games. Motorsports is also of very high standard here, and next week I will be covering the Dubai International Rally. I also did the biggest rally of the region, The UAE Desert Challenge couple of weeks back. I even did an exclusive interview on Heinz Kinegardner, the ex-world motorcross champion from Austria who is currently the manager cum rider for the KTM team. This is a small brief on my recent assignments. So kindly inform me if I can get an oppurtunity to work anywhere in the world as a photojournalist, or guide me to get into the proper track.I am looking forward to own the most advanced Canon EOS 3 camera which I belive is the right choice for my kind of work, in about three months time. Do hope you can provide me with the necessary information on this. warm regards, Regi varghese sports reporter The Gulf Today p o box# 30 Sharjah UAE
