My own, personal, preference for sunset/sunrise shots is for interesting ground subjects to complement the clouds. Great, even lurid, skies are quite common, in order to raise a sky image above the usual you need something equally interesting on the ground.

Don't think this is just another sunset. VERY INTERESTING shot, the clouds look like a stormy beach to me. One complaint: the image is too small !

It must have been a beautiful sunset to watch. As a picture, the clouds really don't seem to have a particularly interesting pattern, especially at the top and left, it just loses interest...perhaps closer cropping might be useful. Also, the horizon is obviously tilted counterclockwise, which is somewhat disconcerting.
