I like the composition, but the highlights are a little too hot (at least on this image).

I love the simplistic composition and interesting background. As was mentioned, the has hot spots. My guess is that either they were generated when your meter in order to lighten the dark background, overexposed the sunlit foreground by about one stop or they were created when you scanned the image. Please let us know what film and metering/exposure you used to capture this image. Thanks for sharing. Bahman.

The lighting and step-down composition are special. However, the frost doesn't seem sharp. Is this a film- to- digital problem or did the grass move?

Thanks very much for the comments. The image is a digital image and I new it was too hot, probably shouldn't have posted it. I am not sure why it is so hot. I used a tripod and shot at 1/500. It was a very bright day and maybe the camera just ran out of dynamic range. I think it is actually in focus and it simply doesn't have any data there. I can only control shutter speed or aperture and there is no manual override. The view finder is a 100 pixel LCD and I can not manually focus because it is just too coarse a view finder for my eyes.
