Very nice nature shot. Exposure, action, composition. It has everything. Where was it taken? What time of year and what lens?

I'd bet that even Arthur Morris would be like to have a shot like this in his portfolio!

This is a very nice shot indeed. The background seems to be very messy but there isn't much one can do about that. Some of the out-of-focus background area seem to be in donut shape. Was it shot with a mirror lens?

Thanks Larry et al. Comparison to Arthur Morris is high praise indeed. He would have done it right, though. This was taken with a 600mm mirror lens handheld, so it lacks the critical sharpness of AM's shots. This was taken in spring of '97 at a small wildlife refuge in central Florida (which Arthur Morris occasionally visits - he probably has better shots than this from the same place). Thanks for all of your comments.
