I am looking for info. on people who participate in extreme sports or high risk sports and whether it is a chemical reaction or a psychological response.

my SELF AS A 5TH YEAR SPORT PSYCH STUNDENT, WHO HAS RACED MOUNTAIAN BIKES, ROCK CLIMBED, BASED JUMPED , IRON MAN TRIATHALONS, RACED MOTOR CROSS AND NOW PARTICIPATING IN ROAD MOTOR CYCLE RACING, AND ALSO TAKE ON BIG SURF. IT IS A CHEMICAL IMBALANCEMENT OF SEROTOIN FROM THE PITUARARY GLAND IN THE BRAIN . MY THOERY IS THAT THERE IS A NEED FOR A HIGH LEVEL OF EXTERNAL STIMULUS TO BE ABLE TO GET A BUZZ, IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN. ALSO THE LEVEL OF NORMAL OR BASE LINE FOR ACHEVIEING SATISFACTION IS HIGHTENED. OR FEAR IT SELF IS TREATED AS A WELCOMED CHALLENGE, THAT FOR THE INSANE.
