Nightline comment

Just read the Nightline piece. Better presentstion than expected. They picked someone with a PhD from Stanford with 28 years in IT. Hard to say the guy is clueless! The K czar was interesting. Maybe the paranoia bug is catching. I could have sworn from the written text that he was setting the stage for blaming OUR Y2K problems on the rest of the world.

Mr. Herring, (excuse it you're a she.) I had that very same impression. Also, have you seen, read, heard anyone yet say: It's our fault." We are entering the biggest scapegoating time im history of the universe.

Well Mr. Kos-what's-his-face, who invented computers anyway? Shouldn't we take SOME responsibility for this mess the world is in?

It's simple - the Democrats caused Y2K (ask the Republicans), the Repiblicans did (ask the Democrats) - as long as we don't get to "Russia did", "China did", or any of those people, followed by the "logical" conclusion..."So let's nuke 'em!"

Does anyone else ever wonder why we let adults (especially people we supposedly elect - not that this guy was, I'm just saying) that we don't tolerate in our own children?
