Answers

The expression in the animals face, especially the eye is very compelling. The line from the nose to the top of the head is nice in that it provides a path. The burnt out background adds a certain softness. I like the shot however I wish that black caging ( I'm assuming) on the left was not in the picture.

Cropping is too tight for my taste, the tonal range is odd with lots of washed out white areas and it looks fuzzy/out of focus. On the other hand, there is something really cute and memorable in the look of this animal.

Paul and Andreas, thank you for your comments. I'm afraid that I broke the Image Critique rules by posting this photo, because it is and old picture and certainly not my best achievement from the technical point of view. I posted it because I like the gentle expression of the animal.
