Freesyle has cold stored but out of date Velvia at $10.95 for 10 sheets and Provia at $8.95 for 10 sheets. Another good place to buy film is Adorama Camera, www.adoramacamera.com. My first contact would be to Freesyle. Adorama has 4X5 Polaroid film at good prices.

After just processing a batch of film bought 'gray market' from NYC for a client, in the same batch as my stuff from the Yellow Peril bought from a "pro dealer", I am wary of Gray Market films. B&W films in the same developing container and the NYC stuff had major fogging problems while mine was clean & no fog. The gray film had no highlights as the over all density from edge to edge was about a zone III or so. I don't know what caused it but the client is pissed off and we tried two more batches from the same source and they are the same. My film(all bought from Pictureline in Salt Lake City) has no fogging at all. So, I shot some of his film in my camera & processed again, same results. While this is only the third time in years I have run into a problem with NYC film, I don't think I will again trust images I travel quite a distance to shoot to chance. I know most of their stuff is fine, but won't gamble on it. I will buy fresh and hope that keeps me in the safe zone of photography. The savings of 5-30% means nothing if my negs or chromes aren't what I want them to be.
