The Florida crackers referred to wood storks as "Iron Heads" and claimed they were good eating. They are now on the endangered species list. They look slow, but their bill muscle has the fastest measured reflex. The light was just about gone, but I couldn't resist their "pose". N70, sigma 400, Elite 200.

I believe you're mistaken, Larry. I think these are gourd heads, not iron heads. But they may be Spanish buzzards. Its a tough call. The framing is very nice, and the reflections make the shot. Focus looks a little soft, and colors are a bit bluish, but it looks like a difficult lighting situation. This picture conveys a nice feeling of dusk to me.
