Source of latex in post-Y2K

Since 100% of natural rubber currently is imported, it might be useful to consider the Guayule plant as a viable source of latex in a post-Y2K world. This plant grows naturally in the desert Southwest, and it has been extensively studied over the years. To find out more about it just run a search for "Guayule" in your search engine.

Good thinking brother. Forget about the food and the water and shelter, it's latex that makes the world go 'round, at least for those of us in the know. The smell! The feel! The taste!!! So many people look at y2k only from their own blinkered perspective. They "just don't get it" about just how big this problem is! Prior to discovering the joys of latex I had to get my thrills riding public transport with goldfish in my trousers. They were terrible times. If all the latex fiends have to revert to such practices there will be runs on fish shops. Time is short, WAKE UP PEOPLE!!!!
