If you can't access the site at the table of contents, try this address for the opening page.

Has anyone else had trouble getting into this sight? It lets me in everytime. I'll tell you how I got into it the first time, maybe that is the key? Go to the site: www.mrssurvival.com click on "The Junction" then scan down and click on "Rocky Mountain Survival Group". I hope you'll take a look at it. It is an amazing compilation of information. Someone please let me know that you were able to access it. Thanks!

Gayla, I was able to access the site right away. It really is a great source of information. I don't know why others can't get it.

Thank you, Gayla ! This looks like a good site, and I got through just fine . K S

Thanks for the replies. I copied and pasted, so I knew it wasn't my typing. I hope the site helps people who are searching.

Gayla, thanks for letting me know about this website...I can't believe everything that it covers! I had no problem getting it the very first time. I was thinking about how long it would take me to go through the entire lists...a very long time! I am sure that I will find many topics that will help me. I also checked into the website that someone else gave me which is y2k for women. There is a chat room also, but I am embarrassed to say that I don't know how to get in on it. I tried and couldn't and I think that a couple of the women were agitated with me and thought I was just spying, but truth is I couldn't get in and they didn't know that. Just plain don't get it , how to enter in. Thanks again, Blondie

WOO HOO Gayla! got in right off the bat

Your site needs to be written up in Y2K Magazine, if such a thing exists. You folks are campers from way back, and it shows.

Five-Star Review ***** from an old camper who's had a bear poke his head in the tent door at 4 AM LOL....another story (^_^)

Things we need to keep in mind: Bushmen and Aborigines exist and thrive in desert conditions most would consider unlivable, and they've done it for thousands of years. It's a matter of a certain type of education.

A fellow named Eric Rudolph, who's an accused murderer and bomber, is living in the boonie mountains of NC right now with no power, spotty food supplies, etc. etc. etc. with the FBI hot on his tail. And he seems to be doing just fine, by all accounts. Not that I recommend him any, but he's doing it. He's not a college graduate or Ph.D. -- he just knows how. We can learn the same type stuff with the proper motivation.

Nobody said it would be easy.
