It is my understanding that the floppy adapter for the PC will not work with the 16 meg SmartMedia chips? If this is so is Olympus or some other mfg going to come out with a fix for it. I a'm told that the only way to down load pictures with the 16 meg chip now is by serial adapter or by more expensive card readers .

I'm pretty sure the Oly adapter handles 16 meg media right now, and I've heard of others having success with other flavors of the FlashPath. The FlashPath hardware itself is capable of handling 16 meg cards, beyond that, it would just be a matter of driver software, and any mfr's software should work with anyone else's card. (They're all made by one supplier.)
