A Long Wait?

A bookkeeper is remediating a small business (4 computers, 12 employees). A bookkeeper, mind you, whose only expertise admittedly comes from reading a handful of articles. Shes decided she wants to set the dates ahead to check the computers. She knows that she has to shut the computers off for this test. She doesnt know that this ISNT the safe way to test. But,then she will wait for the computer to turn itself back on. She doesnt know what she will do if it doesnt. [That's what it say, folks!]

I have a mental picture of this lady, still sitting there, in 2001, still waiting for the computer to power itself back up, wondering what to do.

At least she'll have lots of company.

I think she and the other employees will be home eating the goods that they stored.....that is if they had enough sense to stock up. And when the dust settles, will be looking for other employment.
