Would FSU be interested in an exchange with a Canadian university crew?

I am a rower with Trent University located in Peterborough Ontario Canada, I was wondering if there would be interest in having an exchange of between crews some time later down the road. An "exchange" meaning for a period of time we train at your facility and then later you come here to train. This would probably take a lot of time to set up. Anyway the Trent University Rowing Club is located on the Trent Canal, we have 5 km of really calm water to row on. Its also the home of the Head of the Trent regatta, one of the longest head races in the world.

Hi Ken,

That sounds like a fantastic idea. We are always interested in meeting new rowers. Hopefully we can work a great deal between the two crews and start a lasting exchange program. Please contact me with the details and we'll get started on the exchange program. Thanks for your offer and your interest in FSU crew.

I'm a South African citizen studying in Cape Town and would like nothing more than to further my studies and rowing career in the States or Canada. If I can do this through exchange or any other means, it would be my dream come true. Any information regarding this would be of great help. thanx --Stuart
