The company I work for develops Network/PC Management software. Our NETinventory product can identify a large number (over 4,000) common software packages. Of these 4,000+ software applications that our product can identify through a LAN/WAN, we have been able to get Y2K compliance information for approximately 500 of those applications from the product vendor. "Y2K Compliance" is a tricky term to define. NETinventory provides several levels of compliance that can be associated with any "identified" software application.
