When is Clinton going to give his y2k speech? What will the markets do afterwards? With the price of gold/silver rise?

Clinton's speech will be weeks away. It will be a brief radio address. He will reasure everyone that everything will be ok, not to worry. He will say nothing which would cause alarm to the average person in the country. Only the "y2k kooks" will be disappointed, but Clinton know they do not have a national platform. The price of precious metals will not rise until such time as many people start to shift their assets around to places where they feel it is secure during the y2k crisis. That may not happen until spring/summer 1999. If you have bought precious metals, you need to be patient before you can make a profit (if one is to be had at all).
