Hi Kriston, no, an undergra.d degree in the sport sciences should work fine. More important will be your choice of grad programs...most sport psych programs are in sport science departments..some, like our at the Arizona School of Professional Psychology are housed in psychology. There are many issues involved in deciding which one is for you...feel free to contact me if you would like more information on this issue.
