So what would you like to see in a fourth season?

Notice that, due to the distinct lack of them, we've never described an episode as bad - with more to choose from, would we start getting picky?

Could Aeon and Trevor keep their little games interesting enough or would Chung resort to more surrealism?

And would any reference be made to End Sinister? Or would we just find everyone acting as if nothing had happened?

Personally, I'd like to see a storyline that carries over through the series. How about the...what were they called...Berognican Reformation Movement?

I'd also like to see a real threat to Trevor, someone he can't trick, kinda like his evil twin. Mourad Junior perhaps, or his wife :-)

I guess I'm just a little bored with morals. I prefer the action where I can just sit and watch without my brain nagging me that something's going on. That's almost an anti-flux statement, but i'd be interested to see which way a fourth season went.

I'd love for them to bring back Aeon's clone and make her a main character on the show. I thought "A Last Time for Everything" was the best episode there was. The clone character was the most intrigueing of them all.

I wouldn't mind seeing more developement and maybe a little more background on the interesting characters that pop up on the show, not to say that there was anything wrong with it in the first place. But I think the people that they focus on the show really make it that more interesting.

Other than that, I think Chung should keep everything as it is!

I think that we should hit it off with a season of shorts. Aeon and Trevor could be changed by the aliens more than we realise and join forces against new enemies.

I think then we could have a new season were Aeon and Trevor are on the aliens planet, maybe they could have an alien baby?

yeah, it would be really funky to see Trevor in a brotherly battle. Everyone knows when a tele-seris/cartoon starts to drag they add another character,. not that aeonflux is dragging however,. does anyone remember HE-MAN when it was near the end and they introduced that other EVIL villan, who was worse than skeletor, twould b kewl if like Aeon and Trevor team up against a common super villan,. or if There was one (dialogued) episode where Aeon isn't the center,. and it is around just an ordinary breen,. i dont know maybe even spin offs =],. like the alien world,. or set around the hostesses from the episode with the custodians,. muahaha o well,. yeah,. i still think theres heaps of room for fun with the origonal characters,. so far,. =]

I would really like to see some of the characters from "The Purge" brought back, like Hostess Judy, Bambara, and Benzenhurst. But characters from "The Herodotus File" would be intriguing as well.

I have to say I'd be very disappointed if *any* minor character reappeared, unless it was very obvious that no one knew or recognized the character. The less linearity the better, I say.

What I wouldn't mind seeing would be a Monican training camp, and one in Bregna, for its soldiers/mercenaries. Think of the differences we'd see in combat tactics, political brainwashing, and the sort. AEon Flux meets _Full Metal Jacket_, so to speak. Of course it could feature AEon since age doesn't matter, but it shouldn't be a "young" AEon, as that would provide a little too much history. The two training corps could run missions against each other, to varying degrees of success. And when they graduate...they all die in their first combat with each other, except for one or two (maybe AEon, maybe not). Ah yes, the futility of it all.

Or maybe we see AEon taking one of these trainees under her wing (and heaven knows what else), only to have the promising upstart killed. Another tough loss for AEon...

Aaahhhh.... the 4th season... Don't we wish! I think it would be a good idea to have more shorts. I think when they added dialogue, it kind of took something away from the surreal feeling the original shorts had. DO NOT GET ME WRONG! Aeon Flux is probably my fav TV shows of all time. It would also be cool to see some of the characters from the Herodotus File. I mean who would not want to see "Loquat" (the assassin/theif/master of covert costuming?) in action? The man that could be anything at any time for any situation. Said to be possibly dead or just possibly an "illusion"......or as Trevor said: "He is a fiction". Or who knows...we may have already seen him....... (listen to me, I'm rambling..) Any way it would be cool. But I do feel that they should never go too far into the history of any of characters. They should leave it the way it is! It helps them maintain a mystery. You never know what they'll do next nor their motive for doing it... Well thats my take on things... It would also be cool to see more of Aeons "partner" (if you want to call her that) from the episode "Tide" which is by the wayone of my 2 fav episodes, the other being "War". Well... to all my fellow myopic zealots...just remeber.."That which does not kill us..Only makes us stranger....."

4th season? Ah, it would be the nectar of the gods...

I'd like to see more shorts. Maybe a half hour of shorts, for one episode. I'd like to have a continuous plot, but it should stay way in the distance and each episode should only briefly touch upon it. (There were a few of these in the 3rd season, like the cameras and the gradually increased restrictions on Breens)

I'd also really, really, really like to see some other major characters. After ten episodes, I find Trevor somewhat dry and Aeon a bit one-sided. Originally, Peter wanted the focus of the 2nd and 3rd seasons to shift between different characters, but this never happened. I think it would have been a great idea.

To summarize, I just want MORE AEON. :)

I believe Chung's original idea was to have the sencond season of aeon flux about police brutality and torture. It was not supposed to have anything to do with the first season characters or plot. But Mtv viewers fell in love with the scantily clad heroine, and so she remained.

I'd like to see future episode similar to thanataphobia or isthmus cripticus in that the story lines do not revolve around aeon and trevor, but it's too late now to have even one episode without either of them. It just wouldn't be the same show anymore, it would be a spin-off.

I like to think of each episode as a singular thing in and of itself. If they made too many episodes, they wouldn't be able to keep up with the demand for episodes that are completley different and unique.On a more superficial level, i would like to see more about monica. The majority of the episodes took place completely in bregna.

My ideal 4th season would be a Chung only, no filtered episode(s), with no MTV censorship. I would love to see Aeon making love to her clone or making it with Una. I won't apologize for my attraction to Aeon's very overt bisexual nature. A 4th season episode with Aeon's fully sensual side would really do it for me. Come on. Don't we all really want to know how Aeon's pubic hair is trimmed. Any guesses? Let's not be too shy here.

I would have to agree. I would really love to see more ultra-violence (whoa, I think i just felt some Clockwork Orange reference there) with a fourth season. It was that combined with its surreal and mysterious qualities that attracted me to the show. Bring back the submachine guns, for Christ sake!

As some of you may or may not know, the shorts are what I love. In fact, when the third season came out, it was kind of a dissapointment Well, except for The Purge. It restored my faith in the show and rekindled my interest. In fact, if that episode had never aired, I probably wouldn't be in this forum today. Anyway, I guess it goes without saying that I would want a fourth season of shorts.

I'd like to see a mixture of styles. Firstly more violence, gratuitous is best. Secondly, more stories that get you thinking. We don't want stuff that makes you think oh yes that was nice, what's on the other side. We want "WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT? THAT WAS SO COOL." And thirdly an episode of shorts that tell one story from the view point of each character (main or minor).

Gratuitous means unnecessary, I think the word you're looking for is "exaggerated". Besides, when has Chung ever thrown in violence just for the sake of being violent? All the violence on the show is there for a reason.

I agree with what some people are saying i loved the shorts! We need more of them..i really liked the one with aeon where there was some kind of virus killing the breens...and aeon dies in the end because she steped on a tack. that was really cool...the shorts just have that sort of awe that makes you come running back for more..on the other hand i do enjoy the actual episodes..that's how i got started on aeon...i love aeon and trevors realation ship..i don't think it would be a good idea to have them team up...that is like one of the sub in aeon..their love hate realtion ship...but yes i also agree that they should show more insite on the characters..that would be pretty cool..even though i love aeon and trevor they kinda get old after awhile and it would be nice if we could get some more characters involved...like some from the shorts...yeah! :o)

I think it would be interesting to flesh out the character of Flukta Marouche, from the Herodotus files, but she now looks into the memories of unconscious people. Or to see into the dead Fon's mind, for the clones sake, in "A last time for everything", to see what she meant by "there are things you don't know." Hope I didn't cause any anxiety by referring to the dead Fon. She comes back I'm sure.

It's a book, illustrated, that came out and supposedly can't be bought now, but it can, Bookstar here can get you a copy. It's pretty complicated of a plot, and of course it is Chung's, (created by, written by Mark Mars and Eric Singer), put out by MTV books, Melcher media. it came out in 1995.

A fourth season would definitely be good... I would want episodes in which Trevor was killed, for once, over and over again. It would be cool to have more characters, maybe with just Fon and Trevor appearing in the sidelines...It might be cool, you could play the episodes in slow motion and go, "Look, just for a second, in that shot, there was Fon! Neat." Also, they should have talking, if only to hear Trevor's kickass voice.

It sort of seemed to me that each season was about expansion and covering a wider range of things. The first season is really just one episode with sort of a simplistic story that doesn't seem to take itself very seriously. The sewcond season plays around with the idea that she's gonna die at the end every time, regardless of what else happens in the episode. Plus, obviously, there are more environments, not just that one place Aeon's trying to get through. The third season adds voices, a more sophisticated plot, and an even wider range of environments. That's where I'm coming from. So . . .

The fourth season, I think, would be neat if we saw Aeon in different incarnations, in different times. Trevor, too. Sure, we'd still see some episodes that were set in the same world we all know and love, but it'd be interesting to see the two of them in a host of different settings. To me, you have to have both of them 'cause that's the real essence of the show, the conflict and attraction between them. Aeon is substantial less interesting to me without Trevor, even if his presence is only a minor one. Also, if done well, of course, it might be kind of neat to see some CGI/traditional cel blending. It'd have to look good though, or forget it. Which I guess is really subjective, but anyway. I guess I like the idea of the show continuing to evolve for its namesake if nothing else, but I think those evolutions should be as all-encompassing as possible without spreadng itself too thin.

I do like the idea of semi-recurring characters and certainly new characters. But I think they were wise to steer away from too many regulars. We don't want to lose focus of Aeon and Trevor.

Honestly, though, I'd be happy just to see a fourth season, but I guess that does without saying.
