If you haunt a store with a regular shipment of Beanies, they may get you one for $20 or less. That's how I got mine. Erin the green bear the same way. Those who paid $500 or more for them when they first came out have one hope left of retaining their value: The Ty Corporation changed the type of plastic used in the "beans" from PVC to PE shortly after Princess went into production. The PVC Princesses are worth much more, but one web site advertised them for sale with PVC at $80 and PE at $40.
