greenspun.com : LUSENET : B&W Photo - Film & Processing : One Thread

Hello,

Can anyone say what is D-MAX of kodak. I know only TMAX camichel. Another thing- is ID-11 is stronger then D-76.Because I have processed ID-11 in same ratio of D-76- it was over developed.

The only D-MAX I know is a technical term. It stands for Maximum Density, and applies to all films and photographic papers.

ID-11 used to be the same as D-75, but it isn't any more. Instructions on films suggest using shorter times for ID-11, so yes, it is "stronger".
