HIDDEN SUBMIT BUTTON AS A HYPERLINK ADDRESS

greenspun.com : LUSENET : S-Mart Shopping Cart : One Thread

Thank everbody for all the responses,I took a look at your shops "And they all Look Great!", but every body also are using a version of the "Buy Me" button for the customer to but thier product. I have a test page setup to explian better what I'm trying to do, please go there and ckick on any one of the text showing the price or model number. Test Page you'll get the shopping cart with all the products listed for that page only, what I need is to have only the item they picked. What I did to get this far was, all items listed on page4.html or posted in the demo.db,and 4 is placed in the group name and in the smart.cfg the groups read( '4', 'Page 4', '5', 'Page 5') etc. for the page were the product is displayed. I created a hidden "Hot Spot" or hyperlink over the text allowing you to click on the price or model number to purchase that item. This is the address I use as an hyperlink http://www.jje.net/quad/cgi-bin/smart.cgi?command=listitems&pos=$i&type=group&group=4 Where the problem is I not able to come up with an hyperlink address that will post only by the itemid number like using 11093 in the address instead of the group number. IT GETS BETTER! The above is only a test site, if you would go to this page you'll see why its so important to have a hidden submit button as a hyperlink. Going Bald God Bless, Bill Ordiway

Do make it a hyperlink for what you are doing, use the following:
