Downloading Adobe Acrobat Reader

The free Adobe(R) Acrobat(R) Reader allows you to view, navigate, and print PDF files across all major computing platforms. Acrobat Reader is the free viewing companion to Adobe Acrobat 3.0 and to Acrobat Capture(R) software.

There are times when you'll want to have this program to read documents you've downloaded off the Internet. For instance: One of the links you'll find in New Clips is one that will automatically download a pdf file that contains the General Accounting Office's guide to contingency planning (March, 1998). If you're not familiar with the process, clicking on that particular link simply downloads the GAO file to your hard drive. You'll need Acrobat Reader to open and read it.

If you don't have Acrobat Reader (or would like a copy of the latest version), just click the link below. It's a great little program, and it's free. Be sure to get the right version for your computer, and you might want to click on their system requirements links to make sure you've got the right operating system version, enough RAM, and disk space.
