'Titanic' Steams Toward StarsNEW YORK (Reuters) - If ``Titanic'' continues on its current course, it will likely top ``Star Wars'' sometime next weekend to become the top box office draw ever. Now in its 12th week, ``Titanic'' has earned a jaw-dropping $449.6 million, and will likely top ``Star Wars''' record $461 million lifetime total sometime next weekend. If ``Titanic'' holds on at No. 1 for seven more days it will tie the record for consecutive weeks in the top spot -- beating ``Tootsie'' and ``Beverly Hills Cop,'' which both topped the box office for 13 straight weeks. But ''Titanic'' may get some competition soon from one of its own stars. The Leonardo DiCaprio starer ``The Man in the Iron Mask'' could be the picture that knocks ``Titanic'' from its heady perch.

'Titanic' Upstaged at SAGLOS ANGELES (Reuters) - The hit comedies ``As Good As It Gets'' and ``The Full Monty'' upstaged the season's most talked about film, ``Titanic,'' at last night's Screen Actors Guild's main awards. Jack Nicholson and Helen Hunt were named the year's best actors for their work in ``As Good As It Gets,'' performances that have also earned them Oscar nominations. The British comedy ``The Full Monty'' was named the film with the best ensemble performance -- the closest award SAG gives to best picture. The only ``Titanic'' award was the best supporting actress prize that 87-year-old Gloria Stuart, a SAG founder, shared with Kim Basinger of ``L.A. Confidential.'' Robin Williams won the award for best supporting actor in a movie for ``Good Will Hunting.'' Elizabeth Taylor, recently hospitalized after a fall, was given a SAG lifetime achievement award, which Gregory Peck picked up for her.
