When I went to register for the class list it came back with the response that I had already filled it in...I have signed up yes with the listbot but have not filled out any of the name/detail/Q&A questions that are necessary to join...wha?

If you've signed up before, for another session for example, the information is still there. I checked the file and everything is in order.
