Interested to know current number of national flags now on summit of Mt Blanc. I left a Swiss one in July 1959.

there was none each of the time i was on the summit, a few years ago. you have to know that the summit has no stable ground because the rocks are way below the snow/ice cap. as a matter of fact many many years ago an astronomer named Jansen built an observatory on the summit. it took just approximatively a decade for this construction to sink in the snow.
