FYI. I happen to own the SCL #01173. I bought it almost 10 years ago with a dream in mind. It is located in Jacksonville, FL and unfortunately for sale.

The M-8 class wide vision cabooses were built for SCL in 1974-1975 and numbered 01150-01195 and were never painted and lettered for ACL. The last ACL cabooses built were the M-5 class cars in 1967. This series was continued after the SCL merger with SCL 0809 being the first built after the merger. ACL 0700-0808 were the last ACL cabooses built.
