Re: Does anyone make their own anymore?

Yes, I have taken to making my own Stoeckler formula. It is available from several companies, but the chemicals are fairly cheap, and they last a long time. I find the results to my liking as it is a "self compensating" type developer.

Many years ago I bought a book titled, "Developing" written by C.I. Jacobson and it has many fine formulas with which to develope films, and gives formulas for most of the developers made prior to 1980. I still have this book and it was produced by Focal Press, London & New York. You may have trouble finding it and maybe not. It is excellent.
