Does anyone know where to find concise documentation on the SQLServer registry? Specifically, the Client sub-keys ConnectTo, PrefServer, etc. and how these relate to connectivity, etc.

I find ConnectTo documented in SQL Server Books Online, TechNet, in the microsoft.public.* newsgroups (searchable from http://www.dejanews.com/home_ps.shtml), and on the Microsoft website (searching from http://www.microsoft.com/search/default.asp).

In those same sources I find nothing for PrefServer.
