Now with Debt Management how long on Credit File?

Last October 2001, my debts began to be managed totally FREE of charge by 'The Consumer Credit Counselling Service'. The 6 year rule, will it start from October 2001 and last only till October 2007? My debts will probably take another 2 years after that to be completely finished. Please could someone advise! Regards Anita
