dv transfer to 16mm

I've had a 21 min. short (shot on a dvx-100 in 24p and edited in 23.98) accepted in a film festival - but they only take 16mm. A few questions. 1 - suggestions of places to do the transfer. (so far I've found black and white films in toronto, metropolitan in NY and dv film in austin) 2 - will a really good looking film (this one is) benifit from the transfer/projection on 16mm? 3 - Is it true it is much better to transfer from a digital file than using the kinescope method? 4 - any other important issues I should know? I have to do this fast. thnaks for any replies josh
