Response to Repsossession by North British Housing on rent arrears of £1000.00
from Lexie (lexie.fabriane@ntlworld.com)
Tristran,
NBH is a registered social landlord and as such you have rights
similar to those of a local authority tennant. However, if your
tenancy began within the last 12 months and they opperate an
introductory tenancy scheme then the judge would have no discresion
to suspend upon any payment arrangement. You should seek the
assistance of your local authority housing advice department as soon
as possible. If this was not the reason why the judge had no
discresion - then what was the reason?
