miniDV to ?

i just shot a film on mini DV, using a jvc 500. i would like to know
the best way to blow it up to film? i am open to suggestions. this
is a short film. i would also like to know if a film transfer is
completely necessary and the alternative outlets? is digibeta as
widely accepted? what is the difference in digibeta and betaSP
transfer from mini DB? thanks!
