Alexandra Aitken, daughter of the disgraced former Tory MP Jonathan, has tired of the ascetic south London life she took up after being hoofed out of the family's Westminster pad two years ago. Late last year, Ali was mugged as she returned home to Kennington, and has since been burgled. Now the 22-year-old wannabe film producer has decided to seek a less hazardous home."I am moving," she tells me decisively. "I just have to get out of the street where I'm living at the moment. You know those yellow posters that the police put up when something happens? There are three of those on my pin-board just from this week."
