capture card or GeForce 4 ?

I own an Intel Pentium IV @ 1.7 GHz, 512 RDRAM and I'm very keen to jump onto DV Editing. My question is whether I should look at the the new GeForce 4 with Firewire IN connection and mpeg-2 hardware de-coding or I should go for a dedicate PCI capture card ? My intention is to capture footage from a SONY DCR-TRV 10 via iLink connection, "manipulate" with Adobe Premiere 6.0 and Sonic Foundry and than "burn"it onto a DVD Recorder
