toddlers in the studio

I am a proffessional photographer who has had a lot of toddler sessions lately. Does any one have any great tips to keep these little monkeys on my backdrop. Also, I get many requests for sibling photos. With a toddler, this is so hard. It seems they are always running all around, but never where the light is metered for.
