well im gonna babble cuz im sitting in a free computer bar with a beer and a beautiful woman in my eyes with great language, and i don't get to log on other than at work anymore.(posted 8185 days ago)mike: i love this progression. something i admire about you and many of the people who contribute here is your uncompromising love of photography. i love it too, as i hope some of you remember from the past, but sometimes life gets in the way, and the last thing you can think of is photography (art/anything but stupid life) unless you are DIEHARD. right now, i'm sitting with the most incredible woman, and we're friends and she loves my portfolio (if you wanna call it that), but the last thing in the world i could do is find what it takes (what used to come so naturally...) to take photos of her. art takes so much...and im not willing to compromise, so i sit here and wait for life to get better so i can photograph again (is that ever gonna happen again? geesh--ps don't let spellcheckers fix 'geesh'--it comes out 'geisha':)), and hope the skills i learned and the time i put in and the passion i have never leave me.
don't quit, mike, and i hope you do a lot more then spend your time showing off to all us internet fools (meant nicely:)). i hope you pound the ground everyday with your eyes set on heaven, cuz you and many around here have what it takes to be on the cover of whatever magazine you want (to show, whatever turns your crank), even in the light of Life (or rather the darkness of Her), as many of the posts here continually prove.
well don't hate me in the morning for coming clean. keep at it guys/girls/other:)
& thanks for coming around here even though the man with the original vision has all but disappeared:)
