This is a very delightful portrait that I would have been proud to take. I like how the face pops through the veil, and of course the expressions. Ren fairs are great, aren't they? I have a few, too, that I'll try to remember to scan one of these days.

I agree with Mike, and I wonder something: How much did the inappropriate (I use the term casually; it really dosn't fit the image unless you know something we don't) actually impede or affect Mike's (or my) perception of the photo? Like Alan Gibson's "Images of Photography," sometimes I think we should avoid giving titles altogether. They seem to work against the objectiveness that is sometimes needed to fairly judge images. I know... Are we here to judge? (kind of?) Do we come close to true objectiveness even without titles?
