bancruptcy re ex husband

My future wifes ex husband went bancrupt a couple of years ago. She struggled to pay the mortgage with no help or maintenance from ex. The trustee in bancruptcy informed her that he would accept #10,000 in the share of equity. She raised the money via a lone to stop herself from being repocessed. Nonths later the trustee changed his mind and upped the price to #22,000. She can,t afford #22'000 or a fight in court. Please how can she stop herself from loosing the house.
