I was also at saw that seminar, but at NAB. The High Def stuff was
NOT indistinguishable from Film. The film had way more contrast than
the HD stuff. For the HD stuff, the white clipped way before the
35mm and the blacks also fell off. But if you did not see the HD and
the 35mm back to back you wouldn't know the difference.
