Looking for advice from a Veteran

Ive already have a pentium based PC (350, 28GB HDD, 256 MB ram). In addition I own premiere 5.1 and after effects. Im using an XL-1 right now, but still need to pick up a firewire card.

Im wondering, with my current config in mind, what would be A: fast, and B: stable solution for a firewire card. I could really use the advise of those who have tried and found somthing that has been good for them. Final note, making clips from 10 min. -60 min. in length.
