Real Time Editing Solutions for Canon XL1?

Seeking advice on Real Time NLE system suitable for Canon XL1, capable of accomodating firewire and 16:9 footage.
Currently looking at the NewTek video toaster, Pinnacle Systems Reel Time and Matrox DigiSuite LE. If you have any comments on these candidates or any further recommendations, I'd sure appreciate it. Thanks.
