Sorry to be such a beginner but I guess you have to start somewhere.(posted 9109 days ago)I have recently bought a Sony PC01 with dreams of being the new tarantino/spielberg of the UK. Unfortunately what I didnt realise was how it all hung together so - after 2 weeks filming in the sun with my family in Dubai - I came home and realised I had no idea what to do next.
I have bought a couple of magazines and spoken to friends and have ended up realising that - if I want to do any editing without having 3 hands placed on a series of pause buttons - I am going to either have to buy a v.expensive PC with firewire bit'n'pieces and a large amount of diskspace or get something like Casablanca (which I understand is like the pc but without all the added hassle).
Whats my question I here you ask....well its really HELP! what should I do as the last thing I want to do is blow a huge amount of money on something I dont need!
