Poems for Mother by

Happy Mothers' Day Mom

So tender, so loving, so beautiful Is the heart of a mother So pure and thoughtful and kind Oh mother, how can I ever repay you For all the wonderful things you've done

When I moved within your womb I felt your warmth When I fixed upon your breast I felt your love When I slept within your arms I felt secure So when I think of Mothers' Day I think of you

When I did wrong my father raved But mom, you cautioned me E'en if my sins were black as hell You still saw patches of white The world cries shame on what I've done And would'nt blink an eye But mother, e'en if I cause you pain I'm still your dearest child

So with every breath of mine I breathe this wish of love That mothers' day be filled with cheer And lots of happiness HAPPY MOTHERS' DAY MOM

Moms (for mothers' Day)

To the sweetest mom in all the world This is a special wish To make this very special day A very special treat But when this day is passed and gone You mom will still be mom Still caring and still sharing In those very special ways To the nicest mom on earth I say, "HAPPY MOTHERS' DAY."

M-O-T-H-E-R

M ..... is for mother, so thoughtful, kind, and true O ..... is for other, none other is like you T ..... stands for thanks a million H ..... for hugs and hush-hush lullabys, that calmed me down to sleep E ..... is for everything you sacrificed for me R ..... reminds me mother dear, that you're the greatest Really, you are Happy Mothers' Day mom!

Except at midday when it's hidden underneath So is a mother's nature to protect the ones she love Even when she says she's not worried You can bet she's working up a storm

And when she's reached the sunset of her years And her blossom no longer yeilds fruit That love keeps flowing thru the young grapes that her vines brought forth To cherish or even spoil them rotten The way a grandma only can Nevertheless, who can forget such fervent love Can earth refuse the sun's daring smile Or the refreshing whisper of the breeze Neither can a child forget The eternal love of his dear mama.

Where's my Mummy?

The day mom died still lingers on The ribbon in my hair tied just like the day before And school bells tolled like always But now something just was not the same

She should've known I'd want to be with her always Did she leave because I'was naughty? Or 'cause she stopped loving me? Did she?

Sometimes I think I hear her say Have you done your homework yet? And when I walk through the park I still feel my hands in hers And . . . I even think I see her smile

Yes, when I hurt my knees today I did wish my mom could kiss the tears away Oh . . . I feel so sad I could cry, but They say she's in heaven looking down at me Well I just hope she's fine "Cause I want to see her real soon
